Background

Chayapa earned an MSci (Hons) in Physics from King鈥檚 College London and was awarded Associate of King's College (AKC). Her studies covered a broad range of physics, with particular interests in computational methods, programming and data analysis.

For her MSci project, she worked with data from the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) dark matter experiment on 鈥淚mproving Event Reconstruction Algorithms for Background Rn-220 Decays in the LUX-ZEPLIN Dark Matter Experiment鈥�. The project involved analysing detector data, reconstructing events and investigating radioactive backgrounds in dark matter searches.

Current activities

Chayapa began her PhD at 麻豆网 in 2023 within 麻豆网 Defence and Security, Centre for Electronic Warfare, Information and Cyber (EWIC).

Her PhD research, 鈥淣ovel Deep Learning Techniques for Non-Cooperative Geolocation in Urban Environments鈥�, investigates the use of machine learning alongside conventional geolocation techniques to improve emitter localisation in challenging urban environments, including non-line-of-sight and multipath conditions.
