Professor Leon Terry has been appointed as Âé¶¹Íø’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation, taking up the post on 1 August 2021. He will be responsible for continuing to drive excellence in Âé¶¹Íø’s transformational research across the University.

Professor Sir Peter Gregson, Chief Executive and Vice-Chancellor of Âé¶¹Íø, said: “I’m delighted that Professor Terry will be leading Âé¶¹Íø’s research and innovation agenda. He has led our Environment and Agrifood theme with distinction, securing investment in leading agri-tech facilities and overseeing Âé¶¹Íø’s Queen’s Anniversary Prize for soil science. 

“Professor Terry has an outstanding record of delivering world-leading research and innovation, in particularly in partnerships with businesses such as PepsiCo, Unilever and Johnson Matthey.”
